BTS wins Song of the Year at Melon Music Awards for ‘Spring Day’

BTS won a total of 5 awards at the 2017 Melon Music Awards.
The 2017 Melon Music Awards took place on December 2 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. For ‘Spring Day,‘ BTS won the ‘Song of the Year,’ which is one of the three Daesang (Grand Prizes) of the MMA.
BTS was also one of the ‘TOP 10’ singers of this year. SUGA won the ‘Hot Trend Award’ for producing Suran‘s ‘If I Get Drunk Today.’
BTS also won the ‘Best Music Video Award’ and ‘Global Artist Award’ for ‘DNA.’
BTS said, “We are most thankful to ARMY. We won the ‘Artist of the Year’ yesterday (at the Mnet Asian Music Awards), and it’s such an honor to win the ‘Song of the Year’ today. We wrote ‘SpringDay’ last year in remembrance of our friends, and we are grateful that the public and our fans loved the song. We will continue to put love and passion into our music. We ask you to continue to be with us. Thank you.”
